I used my camcorder to produce this series. The "still image" facility allowed me to take a picture of myself against my oil paintings. Then, with the overlapping effect, I took picture of Algerian Women, portraits in black and white that I had previously selected from my collection. When I was sure of the result in the viewer of the camcorder, I would click and save it. If I was not happy with the result I would overlap more pictures, going deeper in my journey, trying to connect with the layers of my identity.

I did not use Photoshop for this series. My camcorder was the only equipment I used to get the effect I wanted. I used my computer only to save the images.
